Description of Event/Crime : On November 17, 2011, Lorenzo and Deandra
entered the Home Depot located at 2820 Coors Blvd and committed an act
of larceny valued at over $1000.00. A short time later they attempted
to return the stolen merchandise to the same Home Depot and possibly
utilized an Oregon Driver's License issued to Mark Wasson. Lorenzo and
Deandra were told that a refund could not be immediately issued and to
return in a few days. OCU detectives contacted Lorenzo and advised him
that he could return to the store and claim his refund. Lorenzo and
Deandra were placed in custody upon their arrival at the store. The
investigation also revealed that Lorenzo and Deandra were committing
this same type of crime at several other retail store locations.
