Description of Event/Crime : On 9/1/11 detectives with West Side
Narcotics conducted a buy/bust in the area of 6600 Central SW. Upon
arrival of the suspects, Barraza and Salazar, a hand to hand transaction
took place at which time both subjects were taken into custody. At the
time of their arrest, approximately 11 grams of heroin was recovered.
Their vehicle was subsequently sealed pending a search warrant.
Detectives later served the warrant on the vehicle where they recovered
an additional 3 ounces of heroin and $1,134. Both subjects were booked
into the MDC. It should be noted that Mr. Barraza is on probation for
several charges, including trafficking. He is also a self admitted JMV
