Description of Event/Crime : On listed date the Rop Unit located
Brandon Harris. Harris was occupying a stolen Honda Accord and is
wanted for multiple felony warrants. One of which was issued by the
burglary unit for running a stolen vehicle through a pawn shop and
stealing multiple weapons. Harris fled on foot from the skate park
south over I40. Harris entered the golf course where he attempted to
steal a golf cart. Harris was taken into custody by Rop, SWAT and SE
field officers. Harris was taken to the hospital to be treated for a
laceration to his hand. Harris was interviewed by Rop and Burglary.
More charges are pending to include the theft of a Ford King Ranch from
Coronado earlier in the week. SE Impact is working on a warrant for
aggravated assault. The investigations are ongoing. Harris was taken
to the Juvenile Detention Center for multiple felony warrants, unlawful
taking of a motor vehicle, poss of burglary tools and larceny over 2500.
