Description of Event/Crime : Officers were dispatched to the 9000 block
of Riato Rd SW in reference to a suspicious person in the back yard of
the victims house. Victim called 911 and stated a young had broke a
window and was now inside the house. Upon arrival officer Lujan and
Lovato entered the house, heard the suspect in the back room where he
attempted to lock himself in the bathroom. officers challenged the
offender inside the bathroom where he was taken into custody. Burglary
unit responded and took over the investigation.
