Description of Event/Crime: On listed date Northeast Officer made
contact with 17 year old who was walking out of the apartments at 4209
San Pedro NE. Officer Maes was concerned that 17 year old was walking in
the inclement weather, and observed that the subject was a juvenile.
Concerned for his safety Officer Maes stopped and made contact with 17
year old. Officer observed 17 year old carrying several items. 17 year
old got very nervous and told Officer that the items he had were his
father's items. Boy's father was contacted and he told Officer that
his son should be in bed, and he was not missing any items. Boy's father
arrived on scene. When his father arrived on scene the boy admitted to
Officer that he did in fact burglarize several vehicles with his friend.
Several vehicles were located that were broken into, those victims were
contacted and advsied officers of the items missing.
