Description of Event/Crime : Mr. Saavedra was having his pickup washed
at Octopus 5308 Central SE. Mr. Saavedra was approached by the suspect
and she asked him if he worked at the carwash, when he replied no, when
she was able she jumped into the cab of the pickup and drove off North
on San Mateo NE. The vehicle was entered into NCIC and Onstar was
notified. Onstar advised the officers the pickup was at 801 Locust NE.
Officers were dispatched and the vehicle was located along with the
offender. Mr. Saavedra was called he came to the location and identified
the person as the one who took his pickup. The offender did confess to
taking the motor vehicle without permission. The offender was booked.
