Description of Event/Crime : Officer Hicks was dispatched to a Robbery
to Individual. Victim reported that she receives her Social Security
check on the first of every month. Victim said that this morning, she
got up early and went to Wells Fargo, where she withdrew $1300.00 from
her account. She then went to Walmart to shop. Victim said that as she
was checking out, she saw a subject that she knows "Parnell". Parnell
came over and talked to her and then she left. Victim said that while
she was loading her groceries, Parnell pulled up in a white "Chevy
Impala". Victim said she doesn't really know Parnell so she didn't say
much to him and he pulled away, telling her, "I'll see you later".
Victim said she did not think much of it, finished loading her groceries
and then drove home. Once she arrived home, she began unloading her
groceries. Victim said that Parnell pulled up in front of her car and
got out. Victim said that Parnell pulled out a black semi-a!
utomatic handgun and told her, "I know you got some money". Victim
stated that Parnell then Grabbed her purse and took the money out of her
wallet. Parnell then fled in his white car. Officer Hicks was able to
identify Parnell Fielder through investigation and find that he is the
registered owner of a vehicle that matches the vehicle description given
by Victim. Officer Hicks was able to corroborate Victim' story by
checking the security camera video at Wal-Mart. Det. C. Juarez with the
Armed Robbery unit will follow up the investigation.
