Description of Event/Crime : Officer Padilla observed a blue motorcycle
travelling east on Lomas and Chelwood Park run through a red light. A
traffic stop was initiated and the vehicle was found to be stolen. The
driver identified as Lanny Gerald stated he knew the vehicle was stolen
and said he got it from another person. The ignition waws missing and
it was being started with a screwdriver.
Lanny provided some information that lead to the recovery of a stolen
license plate but the information as to stolen vehicles and suspect's
whereabouts did not pan out.
Lanny was booked for receiving or transferring a stolen motor vehicle,
possession of burglary tools, and conspiracy.
